Tell us the moment you start wearing hijab!

1st year of high school, second semester. It was like Nagasaki in my heart. Sooo unconfident and incredible fearful about how my friends will react. But God has His best promises, I haven’t lost any of them instead and get their whole support for now and then. Alhamdulilah, I’ve been doing it and Insha Allah until the end of life. Amen :)

We often heard that hijab has almost become a fashion accessory in itself. What do you think about that?

Don’t think so. Hijab is not an accessory. I find hijab as a barrier and differentiator. It is one of the statements for being a moslem. Then if someone says that hijab is an accessories, may not see His verse :)

Do you accessorize yourself by wearing hijab?

Nope. Never. haha

Your favorite hijab style is…

Hijab with Parish cotton material with neutral colors would be my favorite fabric for hijab. It’s pretty comfortable and none feels hot. Wear it casually with no unusual shape then pin it! Accordance by the rules, I cover the chest, with no see thru fabric, and not shaping the hump camel.

 What is currently inspiring you?

Mom, always.

What are you currently obsessed with?

IKYK Parka, spoons, black skirts and G-dragon

If you could work in any place, where would it be? And why?

What keeps your minds active, your collections inspired?

A full stomach and an iphone with good signal

 Your love life soundtrack is….

Hysteric - Yeah yeah yeahs

Tell us your favorite designer!

My friend, Anggi Asmara. I truly believe one day she will be huge! I adore her good-heart.

What’s easy about designing clothes?

Able to design whatever we want without any rules.

What’s hard about it?

Keep it istiqomah and make people notice that we always have a red line in between seasons to keep the identity.

Your favorite (your own) design is…

Cape drill from S/S 2011

What’s your phone? What’s the best application that you find very helpful?
